Michael Cera Dumps Charlyne Yi

The long term relationship between actor Michael Cera and actress/singer Charlyne Yi has ended just about a month ago. These two ex-lovebirds are both starring in the upcoming mockumentary, "Paper Heart". Apparently, the two have been dating long before Michael Cera had become the ultimate geek heart throb, before the fame and before he started getting the ladies to actually notice him. They've been dating for about three years to be exact. Talk about commitment, huh? But, after being in successful films and working alongside with so many other ladies, he reportedly said to have been "itching to date other people". Wow, way to lay it out there like that Michael, maybe you could have sounded less harsh. But, I guess it is only fair to let him do what he wants.

Honestly, I didn't even know they were dating until I found out about the project they were both part of called Paper Heart. I was like thinking "Uhm, who's Charlyne Yi..."

But after seeing the trailer of Paper Heart, I think Charlyne Yi definitely paired best with Michael Cera, even if it was just acting. Cute geeks in love, how sweet!

Charlyne has told sources that she was heartbroken and sad about what had happened. (Well, of course she's sad. I'd be sad if Michael Cera broke my heart, too). Poor Charlyne, it must be so hard seeing him again, it must hurt even more to tour around with him before "Paper Heart" comes in theaters. Even though Charlyne is still recovering from the break. Luckily, she's been using humor and comedy to help her get over it all. (She's recently appeared on The Tonight Show With Conan O'Brien and opened up about the break up).
