Thick & Bold Polish

Who ever said bold nails always had to be shiny?

I was at a friend's house the other day getting ready for a night out. While the other girls and I were putting on our makeup, doing our hair and what not. My friend was doing her nails. After she finished her nails, I saw that she wasn't just using a typical top coat. She was using a clear matte top coat by Revlon (which I have yet to find in stores). Moments after her nails dried, I saw how bold her nails looked. I've heard matte nails in the past, but never actually saw matte nail polish. I really liked how my friends nails turned out...so, I went home and searched matte polish online and came across this:

I haven't tried matte nail polish, but I've just orded it in two colors: flatte black & powder and I can't wait! They come in several colors though. Colors that can be flaunted by the daring and bold.

Apparently matte nail polish have been around for a bit - and it was especially created for men who wanted to wear nail polish (matte polish was said to be manlier than regular polish). There are other companies out there that make these types of polishes, but I've read great things about KnockOut Cosmetics. They are a bit pricey ($19), but I thought I'd give it a try anyway.

I will definitely write a continued post after I try them out.
