Warm Golden Glow

Leighton Meester always shows up red carpet ready. She has the perfect glow, the prettiest curls (that literally have no frizz in them), and she flaunts pink lips like no other girl can!

Leighton's look is all about the warm bronze and the golden glow. Fall is just around the corner, but who wants summer to end anyway? This warm, summery look can totally be flaunted all year long. Warm or cold weather, it would heat things up in the winter anyway ;)

Here are some steps you can take to get this look:

Eyes: Get golden shimmery lids and define lashes.

1. Start off with a base to set your shadow. Try Urban Decay's Primer Potion, ($17).
2. Then finish off by layering a high pigmented golden shadow. Try Stila Eye Trio in Gold, ($28). Or, try Urban Decay's Eyeshadow in Rush, Chain and/or Smog, ($16).
3. Then, curl your lashes with shu uemera's Eyelash Curler, ($19).
4. Finally, finish off with Dior Show Mascara in Black, ($24).

Cheeks: Get a rosy bronzed, natural looking glow.

1. Sweep across your temples for a rosy, golden with Nars' Highlighting/Bronzing Blush Duo in Sin/Casino, ($37). Or try Cargo's Bronzer, ($25).

Lips: Get deeply pigmented nude/rosy lips.

1. Start off by putting on some Nars' Lipstick in Outsider, ($24).

America's Best Dance Crew Season 4 Premiere

I just saw the premiere of ABDC for season 4 and I've got dibs on We Are Heroes and Rhythm City. I love the Massive Monkeez and they've been my idols since forever, but I think I like the other two better (for now I least). But who knows, that might change soon enough if the other crews show up something that's better.

On the other hand, I think FR3SH deserved to stay. Only because I feel like Afroborike didn't do AS well as FR3SH, I also don't think they'd end up being as versatile. I mean seriously.

My New Best Friend

I heard about this backpack early in 2009 but I never saw it in person. I was recently shopping for a new cute backpack and I adored this. I just got it and I love it. I'm going to where this everywhere around campus. And knowing the kids at my school, I'm probably going to the only chick whose into fashion that's wearing a backpack. Woot, go me.

There's really no apparent reason why I posted this. I just thought it was really cute, so I felt the need to share :)

So, I went to sephora today, and spotted this cute bottle of perfume:

For those who have yet to smell this "delicious" scent. It falls in the citrusy, light, springy and kinda fruity category. I wore this scent when it first launched and haven't really worn it since. (I change my scents every season). I noticed the bottle had a new, fun and springy design. I couldn't help myself, so I had to buy it. I absolutely love anything artsy, this is one type of design I've never seen on a perfume bottle. It's absolutely adorable, yet completely unneccesary to buy if you've already got it. But, I've got a little sister back at home...so I guess I can give it to her, and ask for the bottle after she's done? =x It's so cute!

Sporty Vs. Glam

I don’t typically look into buying anything but running shoes when I resort to Puma. But, last night, I stumbled across these watches and I fell in love. I don’t know what it is about these watches. I never looked at Puma for their other accessories and what not, but these watches were just eye catching.

This funky accessory is called “Inspiration”. (Retails for $90) It’s definitely not just another accessory, if you wear this watch you should probably go easy on any other accessory (if at all). The watch’s straps are patent leather detailed with orange stitching. The dial is something you wouldn’t typically see, either. It’s in the shape of a trapezoid and accented with green hands. Best part? This baby’s also water proof!

If you’re not the typical fashion risk taker, maybe this watch will be more your taste. “Vitality” is decked with mineral crystals surrounding it’s dial. It’s golden textured straps and gold tone dial gives off a elegant & classy look. (Retails for $135)
